Covid-19 Special

We are accepting temporary enrollments for First Responders, Doctors, Nurses, and Health Care Providers. During these times of uncertainty and concern we want to ensure we are providing care for all those in need who are serving the health of our community. Call 816-259-5177 for more information on the special pricing and the procedures we will use to ensure the safety of our students.

The students with temporary enrollments will be placed in separate classrooms and will have a separate teaching team. This will allow us to further ensure the safety of our students and staff. Due to space constraints we only will have 48 spots for temporary care for ages 2 to 12 years old. The areas with greatest cross over are our playground, halls, and bathrooms. We will clean faucets, water fountains, slides and playground rails after each class' use.

Updates

Please note that if your student has a temperature higher than 99.4 Fahrenheit you will be asked to pick up your student as soon as possible. The Department of Health and Senior Services has updated their response and has asked that we send home any and all students with temperatures greater than 99.4.

Following precautions and orders outlined by the city below, we are requesting all parents reach out to us to confirm whether your student will be present Monday so we can make the best planning and resource allocation to ensure the health and safety of all.

If you are a parent and your line of work is not outlined as an essential function, please keep your students home so we can maintain safe places and ensure social distancing.

Please email us at stjoebrightbeginnings@gmail.com so we can ensure fewer teachers are exposed if necessary and all students have care.

April 13th, 2020

If you are presently enrolled and regularly attending nothing has changed for COVID-19 procedures. If you are enrolled and not regularly attending you must contact the office to maintain your enrollment, unless you and your family are on State Pay. Call 816-259-5177 or email stjoebrightbeginnings@gmail.com. If we have not heard from you by April 24th, 2020 your spot will be forfeited and assumed to be open for future enrollments.

If you owe a balance, please contact the office to make payment arrangements. During this turbulent time we understand funds may be tight at home and here, to avoid further lay-offs for staff and to avoid restricting care to those who owe balances we ask that payment remittance be arranged. If a balance is owed and arrangements have not been made by April 17th, 2020 your enrollment will be assumed to be forfeit and we will expect your students to remain home.

If an email was sent to you on April 7th, 2020 and you have not responded to confirm your student's continued enrollment or withdrawn your student, please note they have been effectively disenrolled as of April 17th, 2020.

Due to the closure of the schools for the remainder of the school year, summer program tuition will also increase to cover food and activity costs. Any tuition agreements previously made will be maintained for the next 6 weeks. All new students will have increased tuition from the time they start until we are able to reduce costs again based on consistency for our staff.

Moving forward we will be interviewing families to determine our fit for care. Please call to schedule a tour and interview.
